The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg confirmed Monday that it will host an exhibit of works by Pablo Picasso starting Nov. 8. Spaniards Salvador Dali and Picasso were two of the 20th century's greatest artists.

ST. PETERSBURG — The Salvador Dali Museum in downtown St. Petersburg will showcase a Pablo Picasso exhibit that includes rarely loaned works from international art museums and private collections.  Museum director Hank Hine officially announced the upcoming exhibit Monday. The Tampa Bay Times reported earlier this month the Dali was expected to get the exhibit.   The exhibit will be called “Picasso/Dali, Dali/Picasso.” It will run from Nov. 8 through Feb. 15, 2015 and will include paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture from the Spanish artist.…MORE
